Hackney and Hearne Ready to Step Up for OPSU
by Aggie Sports on 07/28/05
Goodwell, OK - A pair of defensive
lineman with good size and strength should make plenty
of plays for the Oklahoma Panhandle State defense in 2005.
Both William Hackney and Tim Hearne will be in preseason
camp on August 7 and should be ready to roll into solid
seasons.
Hackney (6’3,
300) is one of the best and most experienced lineman
on the Aggie squad. He is a team player who should have
a very big year.
The Texan from Dallas was in on 20 tackles and four sacks
two years ago, saw duty on both sides of the ball last
season, and still managed to be in on 20 tackles and a
pair of quarterback sacks.
Hearne, (6’0,
280) is a sophomore-to-be from Corpus Christi, Texas.
A strong and eager young player, he is a hard worker
who continually dedicates himself to getting better.
One of the strongest players on the team, he has the
chance to be a special player for the Aggies.
In 2004, Hearne had a solid freshman season, continuing
to learn the game and contributing where he was needed,
participating in 11 tackles.
Hackney and Hearne are ready to step up for OPSU. |
