2 Good Young Players Equal Nearly 700 Pounds of OPSU Beef
by Aggie Sports on 07/29/05
Goodwell, OK – Packing
almost 700 pounds between them, Oklahoma Panhandle State
offensive lineman Brant Domnanish and Juan Rios have
their sights set on success in the 2005 season.
Domnanish (6’1,
350) has continued to both improve and mature as a collegiate
lineman. Big things are expected from this big man with
the fast smile who will be plowing the road for Aggie
runners this season.
The Paola, Kansas product performed well in a reserve
role last season and stepped up many times in key situations
in support of both the Aggie air and ground attack.
Rios (all 6’4
and 350 pounds of him) is a sophomore-to-be from Odessa,
Texas. He began to play to his potential last season,
and had a very strong spring. This big man has a good
attitude, and if he continues to improve he can become
a big-time player on the Aggie offensive line.
Rios, a friendly sort off the football field, saw a great
deal of playing time last season and provided some great
support for other lineman as well as his backs and receivers. |
