- by Scott Puryear of Aggie Sports on 10/1/05

Goodwell, OK - The Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies took on rugged University of Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday and fell to the Mavericks, 71-0. Eleven different players scored points for UN-O.

The Mavericks (now 4-1) have been a nationally ranked team all season.

The Aggies (1-5) played with heart but could not stop UN-O’s high powered offensive attack.

David Daniels led the Aggies in rushing with 61 yards on 17 carries and also caught a pair of passes for 12 yards. Brandon Warner rushed for 35 yards in 13 carries and went 8-18 in passing for 62 yards.

Orlando Vargas was in on 13 tackles for OPSU, Jeborric Evans had ten and Kendrick Bevil was in on nine.

The Aggies will continue with their very tough schedule next Saturday, when they travel to Pittsburg, Kansas to face another nationally ranked opponent (Pittsburg State).
