**For Immediate Release** Aggies Face Nationally Ranked Texas State Saturday Night - by Scott Puryear of Aggie Sports on 10/13/05 Goodwell, OK- This Saturday, and for the first time this season, the Oklahoma Panhandle State football team will venture “Deep in the Heart of Texas.” The Aggies will go head to head with Texas State-San Marcos, a nationally ranked NCAA Division I-AA team. A featured player for Texas State is quarterback Barrick Neely. A senior, the 6’5” and 230-pounder has been mentioned as a top contender for this year’s Walter Payton Award, the DI-AA equivalent of the Heisman Trophy. OPSU competes as part of NCAA Division II.
