Goodwell, OK - Tim Hearne is one of the hardest workers on the Oklahoma Panhandle State football team. Hearne (6’0, 280), is a sophomore defensive lineman from Corpus Christi, Texas. A strong and eager young player, he continually dedicates himself to getting better. One of the strongest players on the team, he has the chance to be a special player for the Aggies as his career progresses.

Hearne is soft-spoken (though well-spoken) and an excellent student who also dedicates himself to excellence in the classroom. Many of Hearne’s instructors at OPSU speak highly of his academic work and good attitude, and one is Sara Hitch. Hitch said Hearne is always prepared, works hard and gets the job done very well in his academic efforts.

Getting the job done is what Tim Hearne is all about and his work ethic is something the Aggie football team will count on for the balance of this season along with the next two years.

Hearne and the rest of the Aggies will make their final road trip of the season, this time to Alamosa, Colorado to face Adams State (4-4) on Saturday afternoon. Fans not making the trip can catch the action live from KGYN via internet broadcast. Log on to and click on athletics to find the link. Fans may also listen to the game on PTCI’s DITV channel 150. Kick-off is at 2:00 PM (Central Time).
