**For Immediate Release** OPSU’s Warner - A National “D” Leader - by Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 10/24/07 Goodwell, Okla. - This week’s NCAA Division II statistics show Oklahoma Panhandle State junior linebacker Matt Warner as the top solo tackler in the country with an average of 8.4 stops per game (59 total). In total tackles (which include both unassisted as well as assisted tackles), Warner is averaging 13.6 per game (95 total). In that category, Warner is tied for first in the country with James Tunstalle of Concord. Warner will be adding to his totals this Saturday when the Aggies travel to Tyler to face Texas College. ###
