Something for EVERYONE at the Panhandle Pork Bowl
by Scott Puryear of Aggie Sports on 10/26/05
Goodwell, OK - This Saturday at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, the 3rd Annual Panhandle Pork Bowl will get started at 1:00 p.m. There will be the constant excitement of NCAA college football (the Aggies versus Western New Mexico); the OPSU pep band (under the direction of Jason Berg); the always enthusiastic OPSU cheer team (under the direction of Amber Hollis); and the distinctive voice of announcer Wayne Stewart will resonate from the P.A. system.

The game is open to the public free of charge and just to add to the fun there will be fan participation events as well as some great halftime entertainment provided by some wonderful young people. Youngsters from 6-12 years of age will be doing tumbling and cheer routines that are sure to delight the fans in attendance. The kids will represent seven different area communities and come from either Miss Kenzie’s School in Guymon or the great group from Rolla Recreation.

The Panhandle Pork Bowl is quite probably the best deal in the area for family entertainment. There will be great people of all ages, the thrill of college athletics, and a good time for the entire family AT NO ADMISSION CHARGE.
