Goodwell, Okla. - Approximately 50 Oklahoma Panhandle State University supporters welcomed new head football coach Mike Wyatt on Friday, December 15 in OPSU’s Guymon Classroom.
The Ambassadors from the Guymon Chamber of Commerce were on hand to meet and greet the number of business people, OPSU football alumni, and other community members as Wyatt discussed his plans for the 2007 season. His top priority this past week was meeting with his returners. He received positive feedback from the team meeting, and looks forward to having a full roster for spring football.
Wyatt also released the 2007 schedule last week as one of his first official duties. Aggie fans - take note! The first three games of the season will be held at home on Carl Wooten Field and Homecoming is set for October 20 against Western State.
