**For Immediate Release** OPSU’s Maynard Receives League Football Honor - by Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 11/06/07 Goodwell, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State University defensive back Craig Maynard had a big day last Saturday. The 5’11, 195-pound junior made two touchdown saving interceptions in his own end zone, one which he returned 100 yards for a touchdown. He was also in on five tackles. For his performance, the native of Santa Clara, California had been named Co-Player of the Week in the Central States Football League. Maynard is a gifted athlete who also returns kicks for the Aggies and in the spring plays for the OPSU baseball team. ###
