Matt Warner **For Immediate Release** OPSU’s Warner Continues to Lead Nation in Tackles - by Scott Puryear of OPSU Sports on 11/07/07 Goodwell, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State linebacker Matt Warner continues to lead the country in two defensive categories in the NCAA Division II. Through nine contests, Warner is averaging 13.9 total tackles per game, with Joseph Streany of Pace in second place at 13.6. In solo tackles, Warner is averaging 7.8 per game, just ahead of the #2 ranked Allen Minus of Lincoln who is averaging 7.7 per game. Warner and the rest of the Aggies will be in action this Saturday for the final game of the season against Eastern New Mexico. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. in Goodwell. ###
