OPSU Golfers Compete in Abilene Tournament

Goodwell, Okla. - Earlier in the week, the Oklahoma Panhandle State University men’s golf team competed in the Charles Coody West Texas International Tournament in Abilene. Four-man teams from 18 different schools competed – playing a total of 36 holes over two days. The tournament host school was Abilene Christian University.
Robert Hamilton was the low scorer for the Aggies with a first day score of 77 and a second day score of 76 for a 153 total. Teammate Charles Herring was right behind with 76-79 (155).
Other Aggies competing were Clint Thomas who shot 74-90 (164) and Robert Adams who finished with 82-88 (170).
