Lady Aggies Compete in Northeastern Oklahoma Golf Tournament

Goodwell, Okla. - Earlier this week, the Oklahoma Panhandle State University women’s golf team competed in a big 16 team tournament hosted by Northeastern Oklahoma State University. This very hardworking group of student athletes is coached by Stacy Nordquist.

Nordquist said it was a good tournament with good competition on a fine course.

The tourney consisted of two 18-hole rounds and the low score for the Lady Aggies was posted by Marcie Langley with 88-90 (178), with teammate Meagan Chapman shooting 92-91 (183).

Other competitors from OPSU included Sarah Polson (220), Alisa Byers (224), and Jessica Rodriguez (262).

Nordquist added, “It was a great test for us and to see where we are as a team. The experience in this tournament will get us ready for any competition that we will face this fall or next spring.”
