Lady Aggies Host Golf Tournament - Finish 2nd

Goodwell, Okla. - The Oklahoma Panhandle State women’s golf team hosted a tournament earlier this week and picked up a nice second place finish. A dozen golfers, representing four different schools, competed in the 36-hole tourney played over two days on the Sunset Hills course in Guymon.

Northwestern Oklahoma State won the team title with a 718 total, while the Lady Aggies came in at 769. Other schools represented were St. Gregory’s and Central Christian.

OPSU’s Marcie Langley was the tournament medalist with 171, four strokes better than Patti Ladd of Northwestern OK. Meagan Chapman of the Lady Aggies finished in a tie for third at 177.

Other OPSU competitors were Alisa Byers (206), Sarah Polson (215), and Jessica Rodriguez (239).
