Volleyball at OPSU on Saturday; Football Takes to the Road

Goodwell, Okla. - It will be a busy sports Saturday for the Oklahoma Panhandle State volleyball and football teams. The hardworking Lady Aggie volleyball team will have two big matches, both in Oscar Williams Fieldhouse on the OPSU campus.

The volleyball action will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a Heartland Conference match-up against the University of Texas-Permian Basin. At 7:30 p.m. the Lady Aggies will take to the court again, but this time against Oklahoma City University. The evening game was originally scheduled to be played in Guymon, but has been moved to OPSU.

The football team will be in Hillsboro, Kansas on Saturday night for a 7:00 contest with Tabor College. Both teams are 0-2 on the year and each will be fighting for that first win of the season.

The OPSU-Tabor contest will be broadcast live from KGYN via internet broadcast with a kick-off time set for 7:00 p.m. Log on to www.opsu.edu and click on Athletics to find the link. Fans may also catch the game on PTCI’s DITV channel 150.
