A Hardworking Athletic Trainer at OPSU

Goodwell, OK – One of the nicest people at Oklahoma Panhandle State University is also one of the school’s hardest workers – head athletic trainer Jennifer Miller.
An Ohioan who received her undergraduate degree at Ohio State University, Miller is beginning her second year at OPSU. Miller is many times the first person to arrive at the gymnasium in the morning and the last to leave in the evening.
The duties of the head trainer vary from being available for just about anything during the practices and games for all athletic teams, to working with medical professionals on rehabilitation issues.
Miller, who did her graduate work at Moorhead State, also has charge of the athletic drug testing program at OPSU (in conjunction with NCAA rules) and teaches in the school’s Health, Physical Education and Recreation department.
Aggie preseason football practice begins on August 8th, and Miller is already at work in preparation for that as well as the eleven other Oklahoma Panhandle State athletic programs that cover the entire school year.
