Goodwell, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University invites you to a celebration of the men’s and women’s rodeo teams on Monday, May 7 at 3:30 p.m. in the picnic area on the south side of the Noble Activity Center on campus. Enjoy hamburgers and bratwursts and meet the student athletes who will be competing in one of the premier rodeo events held on the North American continent - the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo.
Following last week’s final rodeo, the men’s team claimed first place in the Central Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, while the women ended the year in second place. Following are some of the final standings in the region in individual events:
