OPSU Student Athletes of the Week

Student Athletes of the Week at Oklahoma Panhandle State University are chosen based upon citizenship, scholarship and athletic participation. This week’s honorees are a pair of excellent student athletes who represent the OPSU basketball teams.

Jasmine Williams is a junior center from Phoenix, Arizona who currently leads the Lady Aggies in points per game (12.3) and rebounds per game (7.4). She also gets the job done well in the classroom, majoring in Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER).

LaChawn Anderson is a guard from Chicago who was a first team performer in the Heartland Conference last season when he led the league in scoring. This season, the senior has picked up right where he left off with several outstanding performances. Anderson also performs well in the classroom as an HPER major.
