OPSU Student Athletes of the Week

Two hardworking young people who compete in basketball have been honored as the Student Athletes of the Week at Oklahoma Panhandle State University – Cherrelle Tillis and Jake Strain.

Tillis is junior guard on the Lady Aggie team who has done a solid job in her first year in the basketball program. She also does a solid job in her studies, majoring in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Tillis comes from Chandler, Oklahoma.

Strain is a crowd favorite and a hardworking guard for the Aggie basketball team. He is a sophomore from Goodwell, Oklahoma. As a Biology major, Strain is getting his academic work done with a fine work ethic.
Student Athletes of the Week at Oklahoma Panhandle State University are chosen based upon their citizenship, scholarship and athletic participation.
