He is a top player on this year’s Aggie baseball squad. Roche, a senior from Sterling, Colorado, is majoring in Business and is one of the hardest working players on the team. The talented center fielder batted over .300 for most of last year and has started this season at the same pace. Also a hard worker in the classroom, Roche was named the Student Athlete of the Year for baseball in 2007. Student Athletes of the Week at OPSU are chosen based upon a combination of citizenship, scholarship, and athletic participation. ###
