OPSU Student Athlete of the Week

Goodwell, Okla. -- Student Athletes of the Week at Oklahoma Panhandle State University are chosen based upon a combination of citizenship, scholarship, and athletic participation. This week’s honoree is Gabe Burrows of the Rodeo Team.
The soft-spoken senior from Hugoton, Kansas competes very well for the Aggies in steer wrestling, calf roping, and team roping.
Burrows also competes well in the classroom as an Ag Business major and plans on graduating this year. In addition to his activities with the rodeo team and in the classroom, he is also helping with the organization of the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo.
