Student Athletes of the Week

Goodwell, Okla. - Student Athletes of the Week at Oklahoma Panhandle State University are chosen based upon citizenship, scholarship and athletic participation. This week’s honors go to Nathan Barclay of the football team and golfer Alisa Byers.

Byers is a consistent performer on the Lady Aggie golf squad and she comes from Guymon, Oklahoma. The junior is also a consistent performer in the classroom, majoring in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.

Barclay is a hardworking junior who saw plenty of football action on the Aggie defensive line last fall. A Texan from Amarillo, Barclay also does a good job in his studies and is working toward a degree in Biology.
