Goodwell, Okla. - Two fine young people, Robert Hamilton and Whitney Knippling, have been honored as the Oklahoma Panhandle State Student-Athletes of the Week.
Knippling is a freshman who hails from Chamberlain, South Dakota who is part of the OPSU rodeo team. An all-around performer, she competes in barrel racing, breakaway, goat tying, and team roping. She is also a dedicated student pursuing a major in Ag Business.
Robert Hamilton, part of the continuing OPSU-Australia Golf Connection, hails from the “down under” city of Canberra. The junior is a consistent low scorer and recently was co-medalist in a big college tournament.
A good student majoring in Health, Physical Education and Recreation – Hamilton is a very popular person on the OPSU campus.
