Two Lady Aggies Earn All-Tournament Honors

Goodwell, Okla. - Two Oklahoma Panhandle State softball players were honored for their respective performances in last weekend’s Heartland Conference Tournament. Named to the 2007 All-Tournament team were Roxie Palacios and Antonia Ramirez.

Palacios, freshman catcher, is one of the best underclassmen in the entire conference. She started every game behind the plate this season and performed well defensively. The native of Crosby, Texas led the Lady Aggies in hitting with a fine .336 average.

Ramirez fought through injuries all season and still did an exceptional job with the glove and came on very strongly with the bat. The senior from Tombstone, Arizona batted .212 for the season.
