**For Immediate Release** OPSU’s Comeaux Honored for Softball Performance -by Scott Puryear of Aggie Sports on 02-08-06 Goodwell, OK - There should be many team and individual honors for Oklahoma Panhandle State softball this season, and the first goes to outfielder Krystal Comeaux. The sophomore from Bay City, Texas was named all-tournament in last weekend’s Angelo State tournament.   Last season, Comeaux gave Lady Aggie fans a glimpse of the future. She started every one of OPSU’s 44 games and batted .227. Her performance in the outfield was excellent, and she made only two errors the entire season.   OPSU’s first year head coach Nikki Cothran is proud of the young player. “Comeaux did a great job this past weekend,” she said. “She was a leader for us in the outfield and made some great plays throughout the tournament.”   Comeaux and the rest of the Lady Aggies will be in action this weekend at the West Texas A&M tournament in Amarillo. Their first home game will be on March 1 against Cameron University. -30-
