The OPSU Guymon Classroom is dedicated to helping you further your education in any way that we can. The focus of the OPSU Guymon Classroom is Adult and Continuing Education. GC offers a variety of classes.

The OPSU Guymon Classroom welcomes any suggestions or feedback from the community. If there is a class that you would like for us to offer, let us know and we will do our best to offer the course. Whether the class be educational, recreational, hobbies, technical, etc., tell us your idea.

Enrolling for a Continuing Education Class can be done by phone, fax, email or mail. Please include Name, Address, Work Number, Home Number, Email Address, Course Title, Course Date and Course Time.

PAYMENT

Payment for the class can be made with cash, check or credit card. Payment will be accepted the first day of the class.

*Payment plans are available.

REFUND POLICY

A full refund will be given if cancellation is made by the student two weeks prior to the course. A full refund will be given if the instructor or the Guymon Classroom cancels a course.

PARKING

Parking is available on the east and south side of the classroom. Students can also park in the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church parking lot, east of the classroom.

Intro to Photography

Description: Bring your camera and learn the basics of the camera including, but not limited to, lens, exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, composition, lighting and color. Students will also learn the variable aspects of Composition, Contrast, Exposure, and more. *Students must bring their camera to class. **Some class time will be spent outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
Advanced Photography and Composition

Description: Beyond the basics of the camera, students learn how to use photography equipment to enhance photographs. Styles of photography covered include Landscapes, Wildlife, Portraits, Macro and Black/White. *Students must bring their camera to class. **Some class time will be spent outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
Canning 101

Description: Learn about Raw Packing, Heat Packing, Pressure Canning, Water Baths, Jellies/Jams, and more. Students will also learn safe food handling techniques and equipment safety. This is a fun class with lots of hands-on!
