JOB SUMMARY: Teaching business-related classes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Teach fall and spring face-to-face and online graduate and undergraduate Business Administration courses.
  2. Advise students.
  3. Serve on University committees, and support College of Business and Technology clubs, organizations, etc.
  4. Support and participate in academic recruiting and retention efforts.
  5. Contribute to and function within the Business Administration Department, the College of Business and Technology, and OPSU, while promoting the University in the surrounding communities.
  6. Teach 27-30 hours per year (fall and spring semester).
  7. Assist in program assessment at the departmental level.
  8. Communicate in a courteous manner.
  9. Demonstrate willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsibly.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by Dean of Business and Technology; Dept. Chair of Business Administration, or his/her designee.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Master’s degree in business related field required. Terminal degree preferred.
  2. Eighteen graduate hours in business preferred.
