JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain certification to coordinate and administer tests through Pearson Vue. Training will be provided.
  • Schedule and administer local tests such as CLEP, Accuplacer, etc., and aid in the transition and implementation of new testing software.
  • Proctor departmental tests on the OPSU campus as well as for area schools if needed.
  • Coordinate the student resume’ building workshop with the Alumni Office.
  • Maintain and promote the Aggie Job Board
  • Provide coordination, scheduling, and support for Peer Academic Coaches.
  • Work with the Dean of Academic Resource Center and Counselor to provide innovative and effective interventions for at risk students.
  • Other related administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Academic Resource Center or his/her designee

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to complete complex tasks with multiple stakeholders and adapt to fast pace and change.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and in a socially responsible manner.
