  • Earned graduate degree in English. MA required; PhD preferred. Course curriculum includes Freshman English Composition. Specialization and/or qualification to teach courses in American Literature
    required. Qualification to teach courses in Technical Writing preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work with a diverse community of students and professionals.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and in a socially responsible manner.


  • Prepare lectures and assignments, and teach assigned classes maintaining curricular integrity and coherence.
  • Other related administrative responsibilities as assigned.
