Job Summary:

Associate Dean of Student Services assists the Dean of Student Service in all programs and operations of student conduct, activities and the Noble Fitness Center and campus housing.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and situations, gather information systematically, and provide effective and measurable solutions.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary areas of responsibility for the Associate Dean of Student Affairs include assisting the Dean of Student Services in all programs and operations related to student conduct, student activities, the Noble Fitness Center and campus housing.
  • Assist the Dean with overseeing ongoing renovation and revitalization projects in campus housing including the development and implementation of a strategic housing improvement plan.
  • Collaborate with student groups and departments across campus to leverage resources to provide exceptional student life experiences on campus.
  • Assist the Dean in maintaining student records and ensuring federal compliance with CLERY Act and its amendments including the collection and dissemination of required conduct and campus safety reporting.
  • Partner with law enforcement and the office of Academic Resource Center to promote student safety on campus and in the community.
  • Actively engage the university and community through service and participation in campus and community events
  • Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example.
  • Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
  • Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
  • Can be exposed to a variety of weather conditions for periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate in a courteous manner
  • Other duties as assigned by Dean of Student Services or designee.
