1. High School Education: International
students must have the equivalent High School Education from
their country. You will need to submit the official transcripts
from your high school. If your certificates or transcripts are
not in English, a certified translation is required. Any translated
record should be literal, not interpretive, and must be accompanied
by a copy of the original document.
If you are a transfer student from a U.S. institution of higher education, you will need to submit official transcripts from each institution.
If you are a transfer student from an institution outside the U.S., you will need to submit a report "Course by Course" description from a specialized foreign credential evaluation organization.
2. Application Form: All
sections of the application must be completed. The applicant is
required to complete and sign the application. Download
application form.
3. English Proficiency: An
official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of
500 (paper-based) or 173 (computer-based) is required for all students
for whom English is a second language. A waiver can be obtained
for students who have earned 24 hours of college-level credit,
with passing grades, at a recognized college/university which is
located in an English-speaking country and whose language of instruction
is English. Waivers can also be obtained for students who have
graduated from an English-speaking high school institution.
4. SAT/ACT tests or a local
equivalent test of college admission
5. Proof of Financial Support for
the period of time necessary to complete degree requirements. This
form needs to be officially sealed by the financial
sponsor's bank.
Application Steps
1. Submit all the materials indicated in Application Materials.
2. You must receive a letter of admittance and a welcome package from the international coordinator's office. That will include the I-20 form necessary to apply for the F-1 Student Visa.
3. You will need to obtain an F-1
Student Visa to enter the United States. You must apply for the
visa in your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Visa procedures vary
slightly from one consulate or embassy to another. Check with the
office where you will apply to determine exactly what supporting
documentation will be required of you. Several items are generally

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you
apply for your visa months in advance as it is a time-consuming
