In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Title II (ADA) enforced by the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights, the entrance to Muller Hall and the Communications Department on the campus of Oklahoma Panhandle State University is not accessible to people with mobility impairments, including those in wheelchairs. A doorbell faces the entrance door on the inside of the building and instructs those who need assistance to ring it, and a procedure has been implemented to serve those with mobility impairments. “Patrons” include those who need to access to the Communications office in order to conduct business regarding The Collegian student newspaper, Plainsman yearbook, public information, or website.

For patrons who need long-term access, an appropriate, handicapped accessible site on campus will be agreed upon and all necessary services will be provided at that location.
