The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Livestock Judging Team will compete in 10 national contests each year. They compete for individual honors as well as team recognition against agricultural universities from across the nation. The team is consistently in the top ten at the national contests and typically dominates the non-eligibility contests. Competitive livestock judging is structured so that each contestant will have 1 calendar year of eligibility in which they can compete at these contests. Consequently, a new group of students is constantly being trained. The team score will be a compilation of five members who are designated by the coach. Competition is extremely tough with only a few points separating the winners.
