OPSU is the smallest four year State University in Oklahoma. With the small size (1,200 students) several advantages to the student are apparent. Students are able to get the special attention many need to be a success in college. Students are able to experience many teaching strategies in laboratory settings, and the new wave of distance learning and multi-media are quickly becoming a way of life for the teacher education students at OPSU
